updated 10K route, better map

Thanks to Brian Corrigan for giving us a more accurate map:

This is the map from Brian's Garmin data from last year's 10K.  Interestingly here, the actual 10K route/trail (marked in red and is the Garmin data) is different from what is "published" (marked in green) by the park and other maps.  Brian pulled this from the Garmin Connect website.

Run For The Orphans to showcase beneficiaries

As noted in the Hudson Hub article found here, http://www.hudsonhubtimes.com/news/article/5182036, not everyone can go to Africa (or the Honduras) to help orphans whose lives have been torn apart by AIDS, but they can have a direct and profound impact by running in this year's 5th annual Run For The Orphans.  This race is run exclusively by volunteers and ALL proceeds go DIRECTLY to the children.

The race starts and ends at Seton Catholic School, route maps and further details in the blog post just below this one.

5K and 10K route maps, and 1 mile kids run

7:15 am -- Packet pick-up at the school (6923 Stow Rd, Hudson, OH)... packet pickup will run from 7:15 to 8:20 am.

8:30 am -- Kids race starts, so I do not want parking lot traffic after 8:15 am.

5K/10K both start at 9 am.

5K route map is here.  On this GMap-Pedometer I was not able to be exact on the mileage due to estimates when running on trail to/from the Hudson Springs loop and the dog leg portion of the trail.  Total mileage does come to exactly 3.1 miles on my Garmin from this morning's run.

10K route map is here.  So I underestimated through the woods for the 5K, and seem to have overestimated on the 10K route.  I can assure you that on Garmin it is very close to 6.2 miles, maybe 6.18, but we all know there is some variation on that.

Kids 1 mile fun run starts 8:30 am.  Kids race is an out and back.
